Player Spotlight-Alphonso Davies

 Alphonso Davies came from a refugee camp in Ghana to being the best player in Canadian history. He started his professional career for the Vancouver Whitecaps where after 3 years of domination got signed by team Bayern Munich.  

Since his arrival at Bayern he has won 3 league titles, a champions league and is the current club World Cup champs. At the moment he is only 19 years of age, will he strike again. He is also the first Canadian footballer to become an United Nations ambassador.

Player Spotlight: Erling Haaland

 How did Erling Haaland rise from being a hat-trick scoring kid for RB Salzburg to being one of the players all teams want? He started being recognised in 2019 when he scored against Liverpool in the group stage of the champions league, others from the team also got recognised including Minamino who went to Liverpool. So why did Erling Haaland transfer to Dortmund and not somewhere in England where his dad played professionally. He probably wasn't thinking everybody wanted him at the time and took the first big offer he could. In his first game playing for his new club he scored a hat-trick and made a friendship with teammate Thorgan Hazard.  In 2020 Haaland was awarded The Golden Boy award for best under-21 player. Since then Erling Haaland has made a big impact in the bundesliga and champions league reaching top scorer at the moment and catching the eye of big teams like Machester City and Chelsea.
